Single life is good with plenty to do, but i'm working on not being single for once. However, I'm back in college full time and working full time, so I haven't much time.

According to the manatees who select the idea balls at Forbes, single life in Columbus varies wildly from one year to the next:

Great south park reference.

Cbus is awesome in the summer for singles but "less than desirable" in the winter. Always something to do in the core of the city. A bit slower paced in suburbia. Simple as that pretty much!

I dig it.
er…although, is "single living" defined as "single people enjoying being single" or "single people trying to NOT be single"? And why does the word "single" look so weird after you type it 7 times?

single life is bliss.

I see a lot of advertisements for "Single girls who want to hook up tonight in Columbus" so I figure it can't be all that bad...

Being single is great.. it's the dating that's a bit of a bore..

i think it depends on what you make of it...as with anything in Columbus. if you stay at home and watch TV all the time, yeah, Columbus sucks, but so would Malibu. If you're out and about enjoying the city and it's offerings, i am sure "being single" is enjoyable. at least it was for me.

I have noticed single is really a mindset. You may say you are singl sometimes but really have someone you crave deep in the back of your mind/heart and so single is interesting to me. The mind has to be free of connection or desire to be with someone else if you are really single. Just because the person in not actively with you if your mind/heart is still connected to them you are not really single/available.

There's slightly more single women than single men in Columbus. Sorry, ladies.

also - winter is absolutely unbearable, i concur. you have spring and summer to make your move, like a woodland creature, to find someone to hole up with for the winter. ;)

So, CU singles night anyone?

I don't get the point of this. do you want to know where to go if you're single in columbus? did you just break up with someone and are graduating college or something? just move here?
personally i love being single but of course i'm afraid of commitment so i don't think i'm a good example. i'd probably be happy being single in alaska. :)

amen brother!
also I have to wonder how the ages breakdown.. I'm willing to bet that most of the singles are under age 30..
Some of us don't really date women in their 20s (or women in their 30s and 40s that act like 13 year olds for that matter)...
