So, has anyone tried shoveling this stuff yet, or should I just wait for Spring?

just think how easy the home commute will be tonight!
I got to work faster this morning than I have all this week! Had the fast lane all to myself on 71, followed a trooper (who definitely knew how to drive in snow) most of the way til he exited!

true statements. i loved the commute this AM. lack of crazies makes VON a happy person...

it was awesome. there was a slow driver in the fast lane so the trooper passed them on the right (and then so did I). I personally would have liked to have seen the trooper flick his lights on, but being a snow emergency I can sort of understand him letting this one slide. (but really, they need to start cracking down on that crap. Well, at least I've never seen anyone busted for passing on the right, so that's good i guess, but really we shouldn't be subjected to pass on the right in the first place.)

slow lane for slower drivers
passing lane for the faster drivers...pretty simple concept. agreed that he should let this one slide considering the weather...

Absolutely gorgeous out!
If you're stuck at work right now, take a 10 minute walk tonight. It's pretty out there.
Check out all the ice on the trees with winter berries.

I so can't wait to get home so I can shovel, seriously! shoveling means snow, I love snow! (rain, sleet, ice, dirty slush, not so much though)

I so can't wait to get home so I can shoveli was actually looking foward to it as well for some reason. it was soothing to break up the ice, shovel the snow...i dig.
btw, how was sledding? find a sled?Manatee brought a sled late in the game but mostly used a wok, trash bags, a air mattress and a laundry basket.
