I lick ya boom boom ya
i'm lovin this. it's beautiful outside
It's beautiful with all the snow on the ground and on the trees. Maybe I'll get tired of this in a few weeks but right now its great.
Now that people are remembering how to drive in these conditions, it's fine by me. Just remember to take corners more slowly or you risk drifting into a curb. As for the accumulation, bring it on! Honestly, I enjoy the exercise from shoveling the walk.
My father would never stop laughing if saw that last line.
Becareful on the side streets and back alleys as the ruts are turning to hard packed ice. I have a low to the ground corolla and pretty much got stuck in an ice rut while visiting my brother in the Hilltop. Thankfully some kind people pushed me out, it was kind of scary as it was pretty late and I was alone in the car.
National radar loop, you can click on central Ohio to get the Wilmington radar (or anywhere, for that local)

From the Wilmington page, you can get a storm total precipitation loop

After the drive home I feel we should only do driving tests from November-January.
A women on a road bike rode downtown with me today. While she too had ski goggles, she didn't have studded snow tires. Through campus it was faster in the snowy right lane without traffic, than in the congested, plowed left lane.
People like to brake a lot in the snow.
There is no weather that can stop every bicycle.
I was good to about 30F, then the wind chill effect was too much and the puddles froze. I never rode in any serious snow. But no matter what kind of storms we got, I'd always see _someone_ out there on a bike.
If you have rear wheel drive, stay off the road. Simple.
Spotted some bikes parked this morning Downtown. Good to see the shelters being used year round! ;)
saw a Jimmy John's delivery cat on a bike today. While definitely freaky, I am not sure how fast that would be. Or warm once it arrived.

Put about 500# on the axle, and it's fine. I think the bigger issue is the large number of people who have tires that are not capable of dealing with the snow.
I was all over OTE & downtown today, and actually enjoyed the driving. It's a serious pleasure to drive an AWD on days like today.
