Anyone watch it this past weekend? Was actually pretty good. Lots of solid skits.
Perhaps the writers strike gave them enough time to come up with good ideas for the show.

I thought the last half hour was a little weak, but I'm glad that it's back.
I missed it and forgot to record it! Is there a way to watch the last episode online?
You can watch skits (i think all of them) in pieces on NBC's website.
I've always loved SNL. I know most people hate it these days, but its 90 minutes of TV I won't miss every week (well DVR'd). I never have thought it was bad. Sure there are some stinkers, but there is always a few really funny moments IMO. Plus the whole live element still makes it very unique as far as TV comedy goes. I also think this is the strongest female cast they have ever had. Kristen Wiig alone is worth watching for every week.
Anyways, I thought this past weeks was actually pretty mediocre. A couple of laughs, Hader's Daniel Plainview impression was dead on, but the sketch didn't really have any legs. The hot air balloon thing was pretty funny. I like the really off the wall stuff they do. I guess Ellen Page is hosting next week.
the rock of love skit was hilarious, and i liked tina fey's "bitch is the new black" line about hilary clinton. though i'm not voting for hilary.
I just got an order from someone working for Hillary that wanted a bunch of BITCH IS THE NEW BLACK shirts.
I have to say. It was a timely statement.
Yeah it was really good... reminds me of how much I like 30 rock.
The one guy who made the talk show rounds that did the There Will Be Blood Plainview impersonation can do that the whole entire season, and I'd watch.

+1
I'd be ok with SNL becoming the Bill Hader Variety Hour.
They re-ran this last night. That was a pretty solid SNL. I don't think there was one skit that I didn't enjoy. I think it probably had a bit to do with Tina Fey hosting. 30 Rock is a great show and that brand of humor was definately reflected in some of the skits.
I watched this last night on Hulu.... the Christopher Walken in waterwings part made me spit my milk out.
This made me LOL this morning....
