Gallery owner guilty in tax probe

The owner of one of the first Short North art galleries pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court today to lying to government investigators and a federal grand jury about dealings with her landlord, Columbus attorney Aristotle R. Matsa.
P. Maria Galloway, owner of pm gallery, admitted that she had conspired to obstruct justice in 2006 during a federal investigation of Matsa, who has been charged in federal court with tax offenses, obstruction of justice, witness tampering and conspiracy.
