Shadowbox Musicals: Hair
Shadowbox opened their next musical production this past weekend - Hair. Like all their recent musical productions, it runs Sundays at 2:30 PM and 10:30PM, through October 28th.
I didn't make it out Sunday to see it, but I'm definitely looking forward to checking it out, as it's starring some of my favorite current and former Shadowbox folks, including JT Walker and Adam Fauth.
The show got a pretty solid review from the Dispatch:

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
What a playful and passionate piece of work is the Shadowbox Musicals production of Hair.
Under Steve Guyer's "I-had-long-hair-then-too" direction, a terrific cast of 18 and a top-notch design team bring the 1960s Broadway rock musical to raucous life.
The Sundays-only show (which builds on successes with Tommy and The Rocky Horror Show), demonstrates that the Shadowbox sketch-comedy-and-music troupe has a talent for theater and an affinity for rock musicals.
At Sunday's opening at Easton Town Center, the performers found the pathos, humor, social turbulence and cheeky sensuality in Gerome Ragni and James Rado's episodic story about a bunch of hippies seeking to affirm life and love during the era of the Vietnam War.
J.T. Walker III imbues Claude with touching idealism and puppy-dog-cute confusion, which makes his journey from hippie heaven to military hell more poignant.
Adam Fauth energizes his scenes as Berger, who shifts from the rambunctious to the seductive with a wiggle of his posterior.
