Does anyone have any starts, flowers, scrubs ect, that the want to sell or trade. I'm looking to revamp my yard! As we all know landscaping is expensive so maybe we can all lower the cost together!

I can offer some forsythia. I also have a lot of spring bulbs that need to be divided, but this is the wrong time of year to move them. I have diil seeds, too.

I have diil seeds, too.dividing bulbs now is fine, just fertilize them and keep watered. The daffs will probably bloom weakly next year. I like dividing them after the bloom when I still know where the hell they are and vaguely remember what color the bloom is.
Check craigslist for free plants, there are also perennial plant potlucks happen this month.

Every few years I take a photo survey of the gardens so I'll know what's where when I'm digging at other times of the year.

Does anyone know where or who to contact if you are interested in getting free mulch from someone such as the power company? I know last year I got a flier on my door that you could call the company that was trimming trees in the area and get mulch, but the number is long gone.
