I doubt any of you will bite, but who knows what all you crazy kids are into these days...
I'm selling my motorbike in order to purchase the two-wheeled ride out there that's perfect for me. This bike is too dang tall (rather I'm too freakin' short) and I wanna buy either a vintage ride or a kickass scoot. Sooooooo, my loss is your gain. Or it could be. Or maybe you'll tell a friend. Whatever. Anyway. So here's the splains...it's a 2008 Yamaha XT250 dual sport. I bought it brand new. I have a clear Ohio title in my greasy little hands (just kidding, I'm not greasy, could use some hand lotion actually). Annnnnnnnd the sucka's got only 617 miles. It has lived in a garage all but about 3 months of its short lil life, and it was covered at that time unless my butt was on it. I know there are a few CU'ers that would like to strangle me for getting rid of it, but until they can manage to make my legs grow about 3 inches, we got's to do what we gots to do. And here's a pic for your enjoyment. Lemme know if you have questions or wanna buy the crazy thing. Or lemme know if you have like a 70's era Honda CB or Yamaha RD sitting around. Or maybe you've got like some Piaggio or Vespa or some kinda rad scooter you want to unload. We could work out a trade. Whatever. Too many words to read here.

How much for the BMW bike behind it?

I love this thing and will miss it dearly. But I am also looking forward to riding with osulew more often, so it's a good tradeoff. It's the most reliable bike I've ever ridden (of course, it's almost brand new), light enough to pull off even the trickiest urban off-road situations, and fast enough to keep you out of trouble in traffic. Wish I could afford it, I seemed to go the "ten $300 bikes" route instead of the "one $3000 bike" approach.

I need to get me a bike one of these days....but first it'll be an itty bitty one, and a piece of crap because I have absolutely zero coordination and I'm sure it'll be on it's side more than it's upright.

It's less than 300lbs. Buuuut it is a bit tall for my liking. HOWEVER, a dual sport covered in plastic such as this is excellent for learning. These things are pretty tough and if you do mangle the plastics, it's like a couple hundred bucks to replace every piece of it on the bike.
I wish I had video footage of Mr. Roko bunny hopping this thing down the street then riding it back to the house...via sidewalk. Scourge of the neighborhood I tell ya... :)Posted 2 years ago # -
We can recreate that you know! :)

I've gotten a bit of interest...someone likely looking at it Thursday. Whoever ends up with it is super lucky. It's such a cool bike.
