We live in 5xNW and have been trying to sell our truck since fall. It’s a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 standard (not extended cab, and not 4x4). It was my grandpa’s before he passed away, and a gift to us after his death – but we really need a 4 door sedan rather than a truck. Our 3 year old is getting big enough that she has several times accidentally kicked the gear shift out of drive while we’ve been driving!
You can see pictures here: http://notinkansas.wordpress.com/2010/03/15/truck/ They were taken last fall (as evidenced by the sun in the pictures), and the truck now has 172K miles on it. It runs fine but will need an oil change soon, and needs new tires. Because of the cost of the tires, and the few blemishes on the interior on the driver side seat (you can see it a bit in the pictures), we’re going for $3500 OBO. We would also consider a straight trade for a well running four door sedan. It is listed on KBB and NADA for between $8K and $11-13K (depending on features and conditions).
If you’d like to come take a look, feel free to respond to this post or to text me at 614.353.0633. My husband drives the truck and won’t be home work until after 5:30, but you’d be welcomed to come look after that. Or, if you'd like to join us for dinner, I can let you know where we'll be.
