SPLIT: A DEEPER DIVIDE, a new film that is a riveting investigation into the partisanship paralyzing our politics that looks beyond the bitter rancor to reveal the truth of why our country is more polarized and our politics more gridlocked than at any time in recent memory Starts Thursday, October 25, at 7:30 pm for a Limited Engagement at the Drexel Theatre.

Writer and director Kelly Nyks and producer Jared Scott will introduce the film and answer questions at the screening on Thursday, Oct. 25.

What does it mean for our collective future when we are unable to even address the challenges we face as a nation? In a time when partisanship has become synonymous with politics, SPLIT: A Deeper Dividelooks at this timely issue through unparalleled access to some of the most insightful and recognizable names analyzing politics and society – including, Senator Bayh (D-IN), Senator Hagel (R-NE), Lawrence Lessig (Foundation of Ethics; Harvard), Grover Norquist (American for Tax Reform) Jacob Hacker (Institution for Social and Policy Studies; Yale), Ezra Klein (MSNBC), Robert Kaiser (Washington Post), Norm Ornstein (AEI), Thomas Frank (Wall Street Journal), Noam Chomsky (MIT), Robert Putnam (Harvard), Nicholas Kristof (NY Times), Tucker Carlson (Fox News), and Amy Goodman (Democracy Now), Al Franken, Dennis Kucinich, among others – the thought-provoking documentary unpacks the social, economic and political forces driving partisan wedges ever deeper into our national fabric and the devastating impact on democracy that come as a result.

SPLIT: A Deeper Divide is a startling portrait of the house divided we are today – an election season must-see.
