Footers have been poured and steal beams and roof girders have been delivered on site. Has anyone seen the plans for the Casino?? It is scheduled to open in 6 months, It will have the largest amount of slot machines in Ohio, 2 new restaurants and revamped horse betting.

I'm glad something is happening at Scioto Downs. It's great entertainment, and it would suck to lose it. The place has looked a wreck for years.

"Casino" might be a bit of a stretch. They've been talking about adding slot machines for quite awhile. I imagine there might be simulcast betting (I think they already do that?).

I've always had a blast with a night at the track, food was good, watching horse races is fun, and a little casual betting is always fun for me as well.

i bet this hurts Mountaineer in WV.
they get busloads of people from Columbus.those folks will probably go to Scioto Downs once it opens.
