Tour historic Schumacher Place, a warm and lively neighborhood next door to German Village, during the 2010 SPCA Home & Garden Tour. The 10th annual tour is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 24 and includes seven homes and gardens, built from the late 1800s. Tickets are available at Village Coney, at 418 Whittier Street, or beginning at 5:30 the day of the tour at 898 Bruck Street. Cost is $10 for the tour, $20 for the tour and after-tour party. (Tour and party are $15 for members of the Schumacher Place Civic Association). For more information, contact lchappel@wowway.com.
