Take a stroll through Goodale and splurge on a tasty treat at Jeni's, of course.
Load up on singles and head over to Dream Girls?
Leave work early and Commit to Get Lit.
A walk along the Olentangy or through Walhalla Ravine while listening to something funny (ideally Wiretap, The Bugle, or The Nerdist Podcast) works wonders for my mood.
Wandering through a used bookstore (the mustier, the better) also works quite well. I don't even have to buy anything, just being surrounded by the books helps. The library can be good for this too, but there's some about older books that can always improve my mood.
And, of course, there's the cure of good beer, pizza, and a few good friends.

Jeni's makes EVERYTHING better!! And a stroll through Goodale would keep me from sitting at home eating one of the 30 pints in the freezer. Don't judge me. Okay, maybe I have a problem. Hi, my name is Donna and I'm an addict ;)
A brisk walk or bicycle through any of the parks around here seems to do wonders. Jeni's or Bono's is always a plus if the mood can be improved with food (rhyme intended).
find your favorite dugout and crawl inside. :)
Dinner at the bar at Nida's followed by drinks at SJT
or really any combo of friends + cocktails...bonus points for nice weather and a patio

There's already a consensus involving Jeni's and walking through a park. Pretty impressive.
"Commit to Get Lit" = Hilarious.
Go home and see my dog waiting for me looking out of one of the front windows. See him shake side to side from wagging his tail in excitment. Be greated with him jumping up and down on his hind legs and have him run through the house to bring me things he thinks I like.
There is nothing like the greating of a dog for a transfer high of pure joy.

If that doesn't work my wife flashes me and my mind suddenly goes completly blank.
(I'm sorry, TMI?)
TMI, but appreciated for the laugh it gave me nonetheless.
OSULew, I'm embarrassed to say I'm yet to try Nida's. I'll have to remedy that soon.

Do it. Go Thursday, Friday or Saturday and sit at the bar and chat up Viv. She makes the best cocktails in the joint and turns a good evening at Nida's into a great one. And she always intros me to interesting people. And when I'm having a super crap day, she lets me control the remote to one of the tvs. :)
Bison burger from Kitchen Little, eaten outside on a North Market stoop with the loveliest of lunch companions. Followed by some Jeni's in the car back to work (booooo!) with the windows down and the sunroof open. I managed to not get anything on my dress, wooo! Seriously turned about my dreadful day :)

Krispy Kremes should be the 8th wonder of the world! When I was pregnant, Roland thought I was nuts because the light was on at Krispy Kreme and I made him turn around to take me there. He quickly saw the error of his ways ;) I'm imagining one melt in my mouth right now - less calories that way!
You should whip up some of this for Ro. :)

A Nooner!
(still trying to pull the thread into the gutter)
I think Nooner with Jeni's ice cream after would just make me.... well, you know.

Holy crap! There's not a single thing in this recipe that won't clog your arteries or put you in a sugar coma! AWESOME!! Actually I might just make this for him to take to work tomorrow :)
