It would be interesting to witness the spectacle as entertainment. Unfortunately I have to work on Friday afternoon. 500-1,000 people were lined up in Grand Rapids.
I'm also a bit amused that she's doing the event at a bookstore chain that's going bankrupt.

I'm glad Walker posted this, because even though I go to that Borders maybe once a year, it would be like me to decide I needed to go there that night and get a magazine or something, and then I'd wonder why it was so packed I couldn't get in the door...
She is also signing books at the Joseph-Beth bookstore in my parents' neighborhood in Cincinnati on Friday at noon, and I see they sold out of line tickets yesterday. Perhaps not surprising in Southwestern Ohio (although I recall a pretty sizable line there to see Al Sharpton in 2003, and a decent crowd for Michael Moore in 1996 or '97).

If you duct tape her mouth shut, she just might be do-able. She makes me gag uncontrollably, but I see how she could appeal to a young Repub like yourself. ;)
I think letting Mrs. Von seduce Mr. Bourdain would get you much closer to that beer and a smoke.

I mean, regardless of how you feel about her politics, she has become a public figure and has caused quite a stir in the gop. I'm sure, as a person, she's not the evil troll some have made her out to be. She's a real person and a lot of people take what she says seriously, for good or bad. To disregard her just because of her politics is a mistake in my book. True, I think she's dangerous, but isn't it something how this woman, who was minding her own business, has become such a force in one of our country's major political parties?
