Scoot-A-Que is coming! Kicks off this Friday... If you are a scooterist, then you should go. (Registration is $14 and includes a T-shirt, all sorts of free food, etc.) If you just wanna watch, I'd recommend you go down to North Market this Saturday. Around noon the big ride heads out. It's awesome to see literally hundreds of scooters leaving North Market. For more information go to the Cutters page. This is the 11th year for SAQ, and from what I hear the Cutters always put on a good show. (My first was last year, but it was a blast!)

If you don't have a scooter but want one, the Cutters will be raffling off a 1979 Vespa P-125 at the Scoot A Que. $5/ticket or 5 tx for $20. Max 1000 tickets sold. All proceeds of the raffle benefit Camp Sunrise, a local charity that helps kids affected/infected with HIV. http://www.sunrisekids.org
With registration you get breakfast at the North Market on Saturday, a BBQ at Kickstart Scooters, plus admission to all the events. Here is the agenda. Good times.

oh yeah! and it's "street legal"!
…actually I can't believe the confluence of Beerfest and Scooterfest and I'm going to be out of town from Friday through Sunday. :)

anyone can ride. We mostly stay at the legal speed limits so don't expect a race.
BTW, only about half the scoots are "non-shifters". Almost all the older ones and some of the newer ones have a manual trans.

I believe the online registration is now shut down. Do not be discouraged! You can still register at any of the venues including the Summit on Friday night, North Market on Saturday morning or Ruby Tuesdays on Saturday night. I recommend you register Friday night or Saturday as tshirt sizes start dwindling AND you get to take advantage of much more stuff:
Free tshirt
Free movie (Spinal Tap) at Studio 35 Friday night
Free breakfast at North Market (CaJohn's cooking!) Saturday morning
Fun ride up to Delaware after breakfast
Free BBQ at Kickstart Scooters after ride
FREE ENTRANCE (and SAQ custom pint glass) to Microbrew Festival (you just buy your beer tickets)
And a kickin dance party at Ruby Tuesdays Saturday night
Come out come out come out!
