So I was underwhelmed by SantaCon 2011 in the Arena district. The event lacked any real coordination, involved only 5 bars, and had no real Christmas feel. There was no christmas music in the background, no singing of carols, and no drink specials for Santa (other than 1 free shot at 3 legged Mare around 10pm)..
If any of you have ever participated in NYC Santacon , you understand the event has so much more potential - its not JUST a pub crawl.
I see that the arena district is already trying to begin planning for SantaCon 2012, but I'm really hoping someone other than Nationwide Realty (the Arena District) can work on organizing the event... While we might not have the budget to fight the corporate venture, I'm hoping we can plan something bigger and better for next year..
Anyone else know of people involved in the planning//organization of SantaCon?
