As the holiday season draws near, we are getting excited for our annual Members' Small Works exhibition. This eclectic show displays the breadth and variety of our members' talent and is a fantastic showcase for our Holiday Party.
We are pleased to announce that our Holiday Party will be on Thursday Dec. 9th from 7-10 PM at ROY G BIV (997 N. High St.). We hope to see you all there.
With 2010 drawing to a close, we are focusing the 2010 Holiday Party on raising funds to repair our track lighting system. After years of monthly exhibitions, our tracks are showing their wear with parts that are broken and are in need of replacing. With your support, we hope to install a new lighting system to help our future exhibitions look sharp.
Over the past twenty-one years, with the support of the Columbus community, ROY G BIV has been able to showcase the work of thousands of emerging artists from the Greater Columbus area, the state, and now, nationwide. With your support, we were voted Best Art Gallery 2010 in both the Columbus Alive and (614) Magazine's Reader Polls. We are infinitely grateful for everyone's generous contributions over the years allowing us to continue our mission.ÂÂ
We would like to carry this amazing momentum into 2011. The replacement of our track lighting system will help us to maintain the level of professionalism our artists and members deserve. We hope to raise $2500 to achieve this by the start of our 2011 season. Every contribution, large and small, will help us reach our goal. With your help, we can make 2011 a brighter year for our artists.
We look forward to celebrating the many successes of 2010 and the start of an even more wonderful 2011 with you this holiday season!
Happy Holidays!
