That’s what the internet architect specialist/former CEO Stephen Spoonamore says in the the video I posted earlier in this thread. He’s a top expert in his field. He’s a Republican but unlike you he understands that elections are the beating heart of any republic and without election integrity all roads will lead to fascism.

Check the video out for yourself. He makes those points in the last 5 minutes.

What’s an “internet architect specialist” know about voting machines that use a memory card? Also, when did you start trusting CEOs?
Oops gotta run, the electrician’s here to fix my toilet.

@ Pez…Stephen Spoonamore is really a small businessman and computer expert. No need to get hung up on semantics. Just watch this 2 minute video and decide for yourself if he knows his stuff. He’s being interviewed by an ABC producer in this clip but ABC decided not to air the interview in any of their reports. There’s a ton of Spoonamore clips out there:

Just got a good laugh from rus going from voting machines are so secure it’s a conspiracy theory to question anything about them to admitting that they “could be hacked.”

    Not what I said.

That some system can be manipulated is one question. That some system is designed to be manipulated is an entirely different question. You muddle that distinction here.

It’s the difference between finding out someone can pick the lock on your front door and someone built themselves a separate entrance.

But hey, let’s check out that snopes article again:

Or one of the links they use, from that well known conservative bastion Alternet:

Absurd. He’s not a Wall Street CEO. And he’s not the only one making the case that Election Machines can be easily rigged. Professors from MIT, Princeton, U of Michigan, say similar things.

Exit Polling is the gold standard of assessing the fairness of elections worldwide. And the fact is, there has been a “red shift” ever since electonic election machines have been used. http://electiondefensealliance.org/taxonomy/term/704

Democrats correctly say that Romney and most of GOP tell lies constantly. Yet the Dems and much of progressive media dismisses concerns about Mitt Romney and his cronies from Bain Capital and campaign bundlers owning the country’s third largest voting machine company. This shit wouldn’t fly in Russia. Imagine if Putin or Chavez or Ahmedenijad owned a major voting machine company in their countries. btw, the government of Venequela is likey major financial stakeholder in one of the largest voting machine companies used in the USA, (Sequuoia)

I haven’t kept up with all the links that have been posted, but I saw this link on my wall that seemed to manifest over the last couple of days. Who knows if this patch does anything malicious, but what worries me is does something like this require approval from a governing board?

It is supposed to be approved by the Board, but our SOS John H has not played by the rules this year so why would we think he does now? This “reporting software” as they call it is the exact piece of software which wraps up the votes and sends them via simple CSV, over to the state and those then go directly out.

This, plus the 6PM Friday before an election rule change that could allow them to throw out votes is EXACTLY why I voted straight Democrat this year. – http://thinkprogress.org/election/2012/11/03/1134981/last-minute-ohio-directive-could-trash-legal-votes-and-swing-the-election/

When do we get to vote this tool out?

The software takes the tabulated votes from the machine, creates a report based on those results in the CSV format. The file is loaded onto a brand new flash drive (500 were purchased for this task 20×25 counties) and the file is transferred to he SOS office via T-1.
    There is the big conspiracy.

Did Expert Witness, Activists Thwart a Rove Ohio Vote Plot?.
    By Andrew Kreig
A software expert’s testimony last week may have thwarted a plot to flip enough votes to secure a victory for GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Building on years of efforts by activists, election software critic Michael Duniho testified in Ohio’s state court that secret software installed on Ohio machines could enable officials to flip enough votes to select a different statewide winner that the one chosen by voters.

Duniho, a retired National Security Agency analyst, is shown at right in similar testimony in Arizona, where he is a local elections official….

Why Rove failed to deliver Ohio on Election Day: What happened in Ohio – this time around
    By Bob Fitrakis
    November 12, 2012

Was the “fix” in on Election Day in Ohio? The questions surrounding Election Day activities in Ohio and Karl Rove’s now-infamous meltdown on Fox TV election night are causing a buzz in the election integrity movement.

Of course we do not know for sure what happened in Ohio – but we do know the circumstances were eerily similar to election tampering techniques the Free Press discovered after the 2004 election….More here:
