Pretty good line up this year. I'm looking forward to Rob Zombie, Slash and Cypress Hill the most.
Not really my speed, but it's cool to see locals Attack Attack! on the bill.
Yeah, not really my taste in music but this looks like a really impressive lineup for this festival. Hopefully draws a lot of people from outside the region who stay in area hotels and do some shopping and dining while they're here. ;)
no nickelback!? :(
Wrong thread. Nickelback is over here:

It's interesting that you mention the regional draw. What the Rock?! has vended at the festival two of the last three years and will again this year. My experience is that a very large percentage of festival goers are actually from everywhere but Columbus. I've met people from as far away as Idaho, Oklahoma and Alberta. The majority seem to be from Ohio's surrounding states though. Some of the customers we have had over the years have also visited our shop on subsequent concert going visits to Columbus. So I think Rock on the Range is much better for the Columbus economy than people realize.
I'd love to see Marily Manson, caught him a couple years back and to say his stage theatrics are over the top would be an understatement.
Holly crap, this might be so frightening for the villagers(campus area residents) that it would be better to move towards the malestrom and embrace the line up. Nostalgia for sure, but some classics. Would love to see Marilyn Manson...this weekend is usually a dark crazy weird experience, lots of out of towners, very rural white vibe, though certainly not the only vibe. Last year I overhead a couple from ROR
her: there were so many titties yesterday.
him:yeah
her: today I'm gonna take my shirt off.
him: you know I'll be jealous?
her:yeah
