The lineup for Rock on the Range 2010 is being announced next Tuesday (2-9-10). I'm really happy they keep putting on this event in Columbus at Crew Stadium.

Didn't someone here once say they dated a guy from mushroomhead? It would be a really weird reunion.

Kind of a disappointing lineup considering who has played the last 2 years. Although, those lineups were huge and would be hard to beat. So is this becoming the official reunion gig for bands: Stone Temple Pilots, Filter, Alice in Chains, Limp Bizkit. I was really hoping the rumor of Soundgarden playing would be true, but I knew that was ALOT to ask for. I'm glad to see Godsmack (could this mean a new album), Sevendust (they are releasing a new album soon), and the Deftones (hopefully announcing some new stuff.) It will all depend on the two day breakdown for me.
When are they going to do a "Rock on the Walker(a medical device)" and invite the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Poison, Ted Nugent and have a reunited Guns N' Roses? I think that sounds more fun....

Last I heard the bassist from Deftones was in a coma? I wonder if he's ok?
I was really hoping for Soundgarden too. I thought it made sense.
I still can't really decide if I like the lineup or not. I like Godsmack but have never been huge on Zombie. If Limp Bizkit is being a rock band and not pop celebrities then I'm excited for them. Apocalyptica will be very interesting to see in a setting like that.

I don't like Zombie either, but I won some tickets a few years ago when he played at Promowest (LC) and his show was great:)
happening this weekend!
Rock on the Range puts Columbus on music map

In case you’ve been living in a cave or listening nonstop to pop or country radio, you probably know throughout the past few years Columbus has become the epicenter of the commercial rock radio world with its annual Rock on the Range music festival, which enters its fourth year Saturday and Sunday at Columbus Crew Stadium.
