'Macho Man' Randy Savage dead after car crash

Pro wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage, 58, was killed Friday morning in Florida when the Jeep he was driving jumped a median and hit a tree, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

I guess he is joining Ms. Elizabeth, was truly one of the greatest ever. I really hate to imagine what the life expectancy on wrestling stars is, but its probably pretty depressing.

There's a LOT of names I left out that you probably would know too. Test, Hercules, Kronus, Kanyon, Earthquake, both Moondogs, etc.

For better or worse, all the celebrated tough guys from my childhood have fallen away over the years. Arnold Schwarzenegger became a hated politician and then a shamed philanderer. Jesse Ventura also became a politician, just a weirder one. Hulk Hogan is a laughable reality star, and the Ultimate Warrior has turned into an angry, homophobic conservative commentator. Rambo? He’s a plastic surgery victim.
