Well my roommate loves C. Lauper, so she bought me and a couple of friends tickets to the show. How was it?
The good: Great perfomance by Erasure and Cyndi Lauper, although I think if I had to listen to a full concert, the edge would definitely go to Erasure, he puts on a great show.
The bad: Debbie Harry, needs to retire or get a new act. We all were kinda embarrassed at one point by her attempt at dancing. One song literally contained 5 total words and went on for 5 minutes. I was a fan of Blondie too. Dresden Dolls and Clits? , both really loud, enough said.
The ugly: Margaret Cho (MC), when did listing all the people you hate and why you hate them become funny? Um...note to C. Lauper this event was in support of "human rights" campaign, rethink the angry nasty "comedian."
So, if we would have skipped the first 3 acts, and when M. Cho came on stage to open her mouth, went and got a drinks, the event would have been great.
