While we do not serve food (except nuts, pretzels& chips), I wanted to still let everyone know that we are open from 7pm- 2:30am Thanksgiving. Wild Turkey shots are on special for $3. Gobble gobble! For the more "sophisticated palate" we now serve Apple Pie meade from Brothers Drake Meadery as well- $5.50& it is quite festive. And as always, well drinks are $2.50 and craft drafts are $3.50 a pint. Have a great holiday wherever you end up& be safe! Cheers.

Royal Ginger is open on Thanksgiving.
The daily special at Barley's Smokehouse was smoked turkey, mashed, gravy and onion strings on top. The turkey was juicy, tender and tasty. Chef Darla was brilliant to showcase her smoked bird right before Thanksgiving. The Surly Girl Saloon will be open 6pm- midnight on Turkey Day with a limited menu & tasty features ~
Thanksgiving Day features:
Butternut Squash Ravioli w/ sauteed portobellos, zucchini & yellow squash in a chile-pumpkin cream sauce garnished w/ chile pecans. Served w/ housemade focaccia $11
Smoked Turkey Dinner w/ gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans & cornbread stuffing $10
Cupcake: Pumpkin Cupcake w/ cream cheese frosting

I was hoping I'd have time to write a blog post about Thanksgiving options but I ran out of time.
Here's the updated from the CFL:
Betty's, Surly Girl, Tip Top and Grass Skirt will all be open.
Tip Top is 5pm-midnight
Betty's, Surly Girl and Grass Skirt is 6pm-midnightBetty's will have full menu plus a traditional Thanksgiving plate (turkey, housemade mashed potatoes & gravy, stuffing, green beans, cranberries & our Pumpkin Love
Tip Top is doing their full menu plus a Thanksgiving Stack which is layers of bread & celery dressing, turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy w/ housemade cranberry-orange relish and bread & butter.
Surly Girl and Grass Skirt were still determining menus when I asked.
