Columbus Business FirstRestaurants Join Mayor In Fight Against Obesity
Columbus officials and area restaurants are launching a new program aimed at curbing a growing obesity problem in the city.
Mayor Michael Coleman joined officials from Columbus Public Health and executives from Bob Evans Farms Inc. (NASDAQ:BOBE), Donatos Pizzeria LLC and the Central Ohio Restaurant Association to unveil the Healthy Choices Committee. The group will be working with restaurants to give customers more nutritional information and promote healthy menu items.
