Helping Hands Center is a school and therapy center for children with Autism.
This is the 5th Raise your Glass to Raise Awareness, the event has centered on a wine tasting each year and this year we want to add a food tasting as well. Our wines are selected by Matt Citriglia, master sommelier, and we have included beer and spirits in the last 2 years. Our goal for this year, is to partner with local restaurants to add a little more excitement to the food. I was hoping you may be able to share some contacts with local (or national) restaurants that are interested in this kind of philanthropy.
The event will be April 27th at the Creekside Conference Center and Event Center. We are asking each restaurant to prepare a tasting table for 200 people, the items can be at their discretion. Also, to provide 1-2 people to serve from their table. In addition to restaurants we would also welcome bakeries, caterers, and other specialty shops. Money raised from this event is used for scholarships for our students with financial hardships.
If you would like to learn more about Helping Hands Center I would love to have you come for a visit and tour . If you are available on a Thursday morning, our Occupational Therapists work with the kids on cooking and other food related activities from 9:30-12.
Thank you,
