I stumbled across this, and since it seems that half of everyone I meet lately is laid off, I figured I'd pass this along.

Type in your zip code, and it will tell you what services are nearby. It also has resources to help you get through losing your job, an events calendar & online resources, and a forum (but there's not alota action on there).
This website is put on by the AFL-CIO, and also I thinks some of the resources here would be good for the under-employed as well.
Hopefully you won't need any of these services, but if you do, well there you are!
