"Airplane" is one of my favs. I think what makes a movie funny is if you still laugh after watching it over and over. "American Pie" really stands out as the oddball on this list.

"There's orange juice in the refrigerator" - Mrs. Oveur to the horse in her bed as she leaves for the airport, a rare zoo reference for back then. I can't find an image of that shot.

what amuses me is things like this on a question site:
Can someone explain the horse in the bed scene in the movie airplane. I realize it is supposed to be adult humor but don't get it.Read more: Can someone explain the horse in the bed scene in the movie airplane. I realize it is supposed to be adult humor but don't get it.

Rumack: Captain, how soon can you land?
Captain Oveur: I can't tell.
Rumack: You can tell me. I'm a doctor.
Captain Oveur: No. I mean I'm just not sure.
Rumack: Well, can't you take a guess?
Captain Oveur: Well, not for another two hours.
