Please join Wild Goose Creative for a reception and conversation with Talcott Starr on Thursday, January 20. There will be a question/answer time at 7:30. Talcott currently has a solo exhibition up in our space, titled Rescue Archaeology Dig #1, built from his online comic. The exhibition will run from January 8th through January 29th.

Talcott Starr's Artist Statement:
These comics are as close as I’ll ever come to having power over time.
They are about the everyday moments that are easily overlooked, but also make up the bulk of our lives. Through these comics I not only cast myself back over the course of my life (and occasionally outside of it) but I can slow down and explore a single thought, stretching a moment of time to think about it in a different way. Although these comics are drawn from my own past and observations, my hope is that they will evoke similar or related memories in the reader.
And sometimes I just feel like drawing dinosaurs.
Launched in August 2010, TheMetropreneur.com is a local online resource devoted to small business development and entrepreneurship. Its aim is to tell the stories of Central Ohio's business community, foster regional economic development and assist entrepreneurs with its resource-heavy focus.
