This is a Columbus exclusive, so don't miss out. This had a premiere in Vegas when I was there. I couldn't be bothered to go even for free and despite the fact that Melora contributed.

It's tempting for the sheer campiness that is sure to entail.
Oh, and welcome to CU, my dear mrsgeedeck (good to see you finally posting in here)!

I've been looking forward to this since I first saw the trailer last summer. It looks like it's going to be a BLAST.
So NOT a Columbus exclusive though -- it premiered back in November and opened in "select theaters" then. It came out on DVD/Blu Ray this week...
Still, I'm definitely going down there tonight or tomorrow to see it on the big screen.
Here's the trailer:

Oh, and welcome to CU, my dear mrsgeedeck (good to see you finally posting in here)!I've been using CU for sometime now, more as a reader than a participant. I'd forgotten my password and just started a new account instead...still getting used to the new layout though...

Saw the movie Friday night - I had a blast. Over-the-top cheesy, but just the right amount for a good time.
I think if they'd had a better lyricist this could have been even better, as there was a LOT of very straight-ahead speaking the plot, but the music was solid, the setting & feel were cool, and it was a fun, good time.
I also found it hysterical seeing Sarah Brightman in something like this. From having the Christine role WRITTEN FOR HER in Phantom to "Blind Mag"... lol Good for her for having fun though!

We went Saturday night and had a blast. It wasn't quite as campy as I expected, and that was refreshing.
