I'm one of those weirdos who loves to be one of the first in line on Election Day. I'm up at that time anyway thanks to my cat!

I like to wait until election day to vote. I enjoy the craziness!

Well you both should spread the word to anyone you know who isn't REGISTERED! Today is the last day! And they can vote while they are at the Vets if the want to kill two birds with one stone.
:D

It's announced in my classroom, but they're too young (and mostly too far away) for the PBR specials.

Tip Top has food specials too. ;)
But yeah, the key thing is to get them to register and vote!
Thanks for passing it along!

Great news!
You can wear your "I VOTED" sticker on ANY DAY you go vote between now and Nov 4th to Tip Top, Surly Girl, or Betty's for the $1 PBR special!

There is a chance that this is illegal. See this story from the Dispatch.

Man, that's pretty ridiculous. Not sure how a free concert is ok, but a happy hour special wouldn't be. I guess they could skirt the issue by saying they won't refuse the offer to those NOT wearing stickers? Who knows.
I can't believe that anyone would shut down anything that might encourage voter turnout. Especially considering we have one of the worst. Sad, really.

I was told that what they are promoting has been cleared for legalities.
I think it has to do with offering discounted goods AFTER voting instead of using it as a promotion to entice people to register or vote BEFORE hand.
Or at least that's what I'm getting out of it.
