Recommendation for a good primary care physician?

I'm planning on doing some overseas traveling this summer, traveling that will require getting some vaccinations before I go. Which made me realize, I haven't been to a doctor in I don't know how many years. And I certainly don't have an established relationship with a primary care physician.

So, I thought I would seek from the collective wisdom any recommendations regarding doctors.

The first criteria is that said doctor has to be in the OhioMed PPO network.

Second of course is that they're good.
And third, ideally they'd be located somewhere in the downtown/short north/german village area. I'd rather not have to drive out to some distant suburb.

I go to Downtown Physicians in the lower level of the Huntington bldg across from the statehouse. They also have an Arena district office. I've been a patient since the mid '90s - the docs helped me get my BP undercontrol!

EDIT: Hugh beat me to it - Dr. Mains is my doctor too.

We used to go to Downtown Physicians too & loved Drs. Seidt and Mains. We are currently very happy with Dr. Koesters at OSU Internal Medicine & Pediatrics.

I also go to Downtown Physicians. I've seen both Dr. Henriques and Dr. Sharma. I liked them both. I really like that they have always been able to get me in the day I call or the next day and that both offices are close to me.

I go to Downtown Physicians too. Dr. Sharma. He's great.

I really like the office. Very efficient. And they have some of the testing equipment right there... like when I needed an chest x-ray, they had the equipment right there, so I didn't have to schlep to another office or hospital when I was feeling like crap, and wait for results.

I used to go to Dr. Mains also and was overall very satisfied. That is until a misdiagnosis with serious complications led me to change physicians. That said, I would say one bad experience, with a host of other people recommending him, shouldn't be a serious concern. (I don't know any professional who hasn't had a bad experience with at least one client. Part of being human)
