Fun day out taking water samples... Crazy dude protesting the road project has some massively LULZY signs about how the road crews are "communists" and the "Gestapo".

good things today:
i rode to work and will be riding home with out a helmet
i usually wear one but thought it would be good to get some sun
my riding habits change with no helmet
much less throttle and more cruising the speed limit
this bike runs like a swiss watch.Posted 3 years ago # -
Dusted off and dialed in the Vespa today, then took it out for a spin. I think I can squeeze one more summer out of it...but if ever a bike was due for a complete tear down and rebuild, it's this one.

I was gonna say I'm not going to preach, but...I'm gonna preach. not wearing a helmet is just stupid. with that said, just give some thought that many accidents happen in the spring due to 1. riders still working the winter rust of their riding skills off, 2. drivers have been without bikes on the road for a while now and they aren't used to seeing them and they never look for them 3. Winter gravel is still on the road and hasn't been washed off yet.
it's not just a matter of your life in your hands, but possibility of living life with brain damage.
whatever
Have Fun!

Yeah, I only want to go 25mph and I will wear a helmet. My mother used to work for a Dr. who handled parapalegic folks and when I would visit her at work and ask how they got that way, the majority were motorcycle accidents!!!! If you can prevent that situation from happening, I strongly suggest doing so!!! Remember the thread about the scooter accident and the leader of OSU....that sucks.
