Any updates on the Cleveland Ave location? Doesn't look like anyone has been working there lately and I believe the Coming Soon sign is down. Was looking forward to a new Mexican restaurant in town.

May the inspection Gods be with them - because we all know how frustrating city inspections can be.

Anyone know if the new location is open yet? They opened about 3 weeks ago, Walker. The interior is beautiful and probably one of the reasons why it took so long to open. The only retained design elements of the former TGI Fridays were the little green tiles and highly glossed wood in the bathrooms. It's a very large space with plenty of seating for large parties.
I stopped in for dinner tonight. My combination of carne asada, 23oz Dos Equis Dark, sopapillas and complimentary chips and salsa was under $18. Service was warm and prompt, and the portions were generous. Everything looked and tasted very fresh (Jalisco style), but the grill chef was too heavy handed with the salt tonight, as it could be tasted on the grilled onions and the grilled ribeye. Salty, but still delicious.
The bar boasts several types of tequila, including 3 types of my favorite brand - Cazadores. All the typical Mexican beers are available in the bottle, a few on tap. Happy hour specials in the week.
