Fans of the Indian Oven in downtown Columbus now have a second Indian restaurant to call their favorite in the city. Murad has opened a new location in University Village Plaza at 2895 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43202. New location, menu items and ambiance, same great quality and value. Vegetarian and Gluten Free menu options.

Indian Oven is my favorite upscale Indian restaurant in town. I wish Murad much success with Radhuni Indian Cuisine. His new venture should be a big success with the sizable Indian community at OSU, and others who enjoy unique and tasty dishes.

Checked out Radhuni the other day w/ friends. Had great, friendly and very attentive service. We were the only people there around 6 on a Saturday which I thought was surprising. Had the cabbage chicken rolls w/ sweet & spicy mango chutney (enjoyed by everyone). My friends tried the chicken korma (nice, buttery consistency) chicken vindaloo & tandoori chicken tikka masala (the best in my opinion, very spicy with a great curry). Can choose from 1-5 w/ spice (standard Indian spicing my friends said). Ordered a 4 which was very spicy which I loved. Recommend it to everyone. Hope it succeeds. Excellent addition to this plaza. Wish there was more Indian in the Short North/downtown area but this is close so I'm sure I'll check it out again soon.

Anybody know what's up with this place? It was soooo good, and they closed due to "fire" in October.

There is currently a lease sign on the space so does not look like they will be re-opening. Too bad as I liked it to but every time we went there was never more than a couple of people there.
