Found out today my old ISP is pretty much officially dead. They had deleted all my emails this week as well as the account(my account was still active until this past week). I found out through friends who worked there that Compuserve shuttered their Columbus operations entirely earlier this year. Furthermore it appears AOL is retiring the brand.
Really makes me sad, Compuserve's demise (although not at all a surprise as they've been declining steadily ever since their buyout by AOL) seems like a huge lost opportunity for Columbus. Kinda hard to believe now Columbus used to be at the forefront of the internet age.
