*Steps up on soapbox*
So, I have Hotmail email. And every day when I go to check my email, there is this lovely advertisement for Lamisil Creme. This ad has an animated foot, with an infected toenail. The first time I saw it I was like, "OK, that is gross. Who wants to see an infected toenail?!" But I figured the ad would just go away and be replaced by an ad for an episode of The O.C. or something.
It has been 1 month and the toenail is still there! It's bad enough I have to see the commercial every five minutes with the little fungus that actually LIFTS UP the toenail and CRAWLS UNDER IT! Who comes up with this stuff?! Do they think people actually like seeing infected toes?! Do they think this little fungus will become their mascot? "Mommy, I don't want Tickle Me Elmo for Christmas. I want the Lamisil Fungus Action Figure!!!" What kind of moron is behind this marketing idea?
I want to formulate some of petition to stop showing infected toes ANYWHERE... unless maybe if you're studying to be a doctor. At least in that case, you asked for it and you are paying $30,000/year for it.
*sigh* OK. I am done now.
*puts away soapbox*
