Realistically, how wheelchair accessible is TipTop? I've eaten there a couple of times, but I was blinded by the sweet potato fries. I seem to remember that the only regular height tables were up a step or two to the side, and the tables on the "main" level were all tall tables.

My folks are in town for the weekend, but my mother (recovering from a stroke) is in a chair for now. We could probably manage the patio -- but I'm sure those seats are packed on a Friday or Saturday night. (Darn you, Liz, for being so darn good!)

There aren't any stairs, I think there is ample room to navigate past the bar and all of the non-booth seating is higher tables.

The booths have lower tables that a wheelchair could go at the end or "head of the table." Just tell your Mom it's a matriarchal partially women owned place that moms sit at the head.

I miss the ramen on the Betty's menu. Love the chicken tortilla soup, veggie burrito with chicken, the nachos, meatloaf... oh.. who am I kidding? I love the whole menu. The ramen would make it complete again.

OMG. How did I miss a thread about Betty's? We eat there at least once a week. We agree with everyone that everything is great. I love the reuben and the catfish dinner, although I eat around the menu, and even have appetizers for the meal sometimes. Carl's fav in summer is the Betty's Best Veggie salad - but with the chipotle ranch dressing, and in winter the meatloaf or mac and cheese.

The sangria they have right now is yummy, and I get it sometimes instead of my usual Tang Martini (I have a serious sweet tooth). Carl always starts off with his fav, Mommy's Little Helper. I know the Tang Martini was nearly dropped in the last menu update, so I'm expecting it to not make the cut this time -- which is cool. There are so many great options, and I always try out about all of the new specialty drinks anyway. I look forward to this taste adventure each time I see new drink menus :)

And +1 that Liz and staff rock!
