34 years ago today, December 1, 1977, QUBE made it's debut in Columbus Ohio. Warner Cable Communications used Columbus as a test for the interactive cable system. Flippo the clown touched down at the studios on Olentangy River Road, with the UAHS band playing as he landed via helicopter.
And today, most people who remember QUBE remember the paper clip trick to watch soft porn on P 10.

I remember when You Can't Do That on Television spoofed QUBE. They acted like it was up to you to pick who got slimed.

I told a friend of mine about the wire in the fourth hole down the right side... but he forgot to remove the magnetic key!
He put the wire in wrong and watched movies all month.
Later he got a bill for $400.
