I will consider this an issue of urban living rather than a food issue.
But where the hell in Columbus can you get a slice of pizza?
Particularly South of King Ave and North of Downtown

Flying Pizza on Campus. They serve it NYC style.
1812 N High St, Columbus - (614) 294-1011
Fabians on High just south of Buttles is fantastic. They have great pizza, and sandwiches as well. I don't know if its every day or not, but they have a lunchtime slice special.
Serefino's in the North Market
Cafe Napolitana on High St. b/w Broad and Gay.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that! It rules, huge greasy slices, and pretty decent calzones to boot!

2nd this. Really good.
okay, the north market has horrible hours, where can i get a piece of pizza when it counts. like at 3am?
That Serefinos, while having horrible hours and unattentive workers, is my favorite slice.

I googled the Cafe Napolitana place and they close at like 5 or 6pm. Thats well before prime pizza eating time.
^ I think they're open later than that. Best bet would be to call.

My absolute favorite in Columbus. And, their Sicilian style is pretty amazing (the owner used to be my neighbor and gave my daughter many free slices).

I called. Their hours are 10-6pm. Typical downtown lunch spot, I guess.
So that one is out.

I don't really get that about the North Market, or the food court at the convention center for that matter. There seems to be a real need in this area for cheap on the go food. Just read this forum. I think it's great that we have the best restaurants in the city with-in a few blocks of us in the short north. But I hear all the time that we need the other side of dining. And it exists, just with terrible hours. Does anyone know if the North Market has ever tried longer hours? Or if the convention center food court has ever tried letting anyone know it exists?[/i]
All the short north really needs is a "burrito buggy"-anyone from OU knows what I am talking about..a "Pizza Buggy" would get my vote as well....
I have def. had a few late night sessions which ended with me dumping the remnents of fridge onto the kitchen table to feed the late night cravings to the masses..and a few nights where we all went hungry...

I ate a bag of left over tortilla chips on saturday night, cuz there wasn't anywhere with in quick walking distance of my house to get a slice of pizza, a gyro, a knish, a hot pretzel, a basket of fries, I guess i could have gone to UDF, but they're food is nearly inedible.

Is that like a taco wagon?
umm, it might be an uninspired choice, but there is a donato's on the corner of 1st and High...
