Thankfully this idea was killed pretty quickly
Got to wonder where the Clintonville Task Force group came up with their estimated figures for the project. I hope this means the city won't even bother with this group again when trying to re-consider what to do with the area.

I too am glad to see this put to rest. Although I love roundabouts, they only work in certain locations and this is not one of them. You would be taking an urban area and making it more suburban and less walkable which isn't a positive step for the area.

Good idea - but wrong place for a roundabout.
I would much rather see the city buy the eyesore of mostly abandoned buildings at the SW corner of the intersection - build a right turn lane then put in small park, some parking, a self rental bike rack, and maybe a mini COTA Park and Ride spot. That would help grow pedestrian friendly business in the area and alleviate some of the EN Broadway residents concerns about losing their trees and yards.
