Romney Talks Welfare, Putting America Back To Work
By: DENISE YOST | NBC4
Published: August 21, 2012
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney took a break from campaigning in Houston Tuesday to speak with NBC4 about several issues, including the Medicare debate, where he really stands on Planned Parenthood and why he's claiming that President Barack Obama is gutting the welfare to work requirement of welfare reform. Romney told NBC4's Cabot Rea that the president's plan includes $700 billion in cuts from Medicare to help pay for his Affordable Care Act. At issue is how those cuts, if they happen, would impact current seniors.

Yeah, it seems that the only people who want Akin to stay in the race are Akin and Claire McCaskill.
O-I-H-O
O-H-I-O
as silly as it is that we're even going to have this conversation...
this is the shot posted on an official campaign page:

note how in that picture the buttons on the men's dress shirts are going the correct direction.
Now compare the last two... Looks like the H man posted the un-altered pic (a mirror operation).
However, what meaning you wish to attach to this silliness is entirely your own.
No matter how you spell it, Oiho is still part of Amercia.
Texas judge brings more crazy to the table.
"He's going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the U.N., and what is going to happen when that happens?," Head asked.
"I'm thinking the worst. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe. And we're not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations, we're talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy.
"Now what's going to happen if we do that, if the public decides to do that? He's going to send in U.N. troops. I don't want 'em in Lubbock County. OK. So I'm going to stand in front of their armored personnel carrier and say 'you're not coming in here'.
Was just reading this. Here's the amazing part:
"Lubbock County Judge Tom Head, who oversees emergency planning efforts"
Oh...and that he's asking for a tax increase to pay for the troops to combat Obama.
Romney and Ryan are robo-calling people to announce a visit early Saturday morning up in Powell. I like how they call it a "victory rally".
Holding your victory party two months before the election is not at all hubris that will come back to smack you. /sarcasm

Mission Accomplished!
It doesn't sound like a victory party. Anymore so than Obama was holding a victory party 4 months ago when he said he hoped Congress would be easier to work with in his 2nd term.
Ohio Polls Give Obama Edge
by Bill Cohen
Ohio Public Radio Statehouse Reporter

Two new independent polls, just released Thursday indicate President Barack Obama remains ahead of his Republican challenger Mitt Romney here in the key swing state of Ohio.
First there’s the Quinnipiac University poll of likely Ohio voters which says the President is ahead of Romney 50% to 44%….the exact same margin from a poll 3 weeks ago.

Yeah? Well, the answer to life, the universe and everything is 42. Bill Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States. Therefore, Barack Obama will win the election.
