President Obama To Hold Campaign Rally In Schiller Park Monday

Schiller Park will be the next location for a campaign stop by one of the Presidential candidates who continue to woo voters in the Buckeye State.

Monday afternoon, doors will open at 2 p.m. for people who want to see President Obama deliver remarks to a grassroots event in the German Village park.

Obama to make Columbus return Monday

In a August conference call with The Lantern, President Barack Obama hinted a Central Ohio return before the Nov. 6 election, and he’s scheduled to make good on that promise Monday afternoon. “I expect that if you’re not completely tired of me, you’re gonna see me in Ohio State again,” he said.

Ohio continues its role as a common destination for the campaigns for both presidential candidates. President Barack Obama spoke at a rally in Schiller Park in the German Village neighborhood, and Republican Sen. Marco Rubio hosted an event for the campaign to elect Mitt Romney at the Statehouse. It was the second stop in Ohio for Obama -- his second visit since the Democratic National Convention a few weeks ago.

Obama visits Columbus, defends record on job outsourcing

Trade law and the 2012 presidential candidates’ respective records on outsourcing jobs to China took center stage across America Monday. President Barack Obama was in Columbus to defend his stance on these matters.

During a campaign stop at Schiller Park in Columbus’ German Village neighborhood, Obama focused his remarks on his administration’s attempts to prevent the outsourcing of jobs to China. Obama also criticized Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s history of outsourcing jobs.
