I don't know if you can buy linguiça anywhere in Columbus. Have you called Whole Foods or Trader Joe's? If you get really desperate, you can order it online:

I love the Hawaiian breakfast at McDonald's: eggs, Portuguese sausage, a scoop of rice and a wedge of fresh pineapple... mmmmm.
Or how about Loco Moco with macaroni salad and "two scoops rice"... or saimin... or fresh malasadas...
There isn't a lot of Hawaiian food available in Columbus, as far as I know. You say "Spam musubi" around here and people look at you like you're crazy. A few of the Chinese buffet restaurants serve haupia. Molly Woo's (at Polaris) serves poke which is quite good, but they serve it stacked on top of rice!
The closest L&L Barbecue is in New York City - maybe some of us should make a road trip for some serious plate lunch!

It doesn't. Whilest sure, sausage may = a phalassee, and foreign anything smacks of the alluring, and while the title of the thread may incur a giggle, I don't think it sounds like a porn title (there's no action verb... like portuguese sausage does X or goes X or ...XXX). & in a quick search I don't see any portuguese sausage porn out there. Food porn is mentioned, but not really in relation to any kind of coital activities, just foodies getting their food on.
So Mr Native, I'd say a market has opened up for you, should you want to exploit the untapped venue of portuguese sausage porn...
But I don't wanna see it, as I am a goddamn delicate flower.
and in retrospect, this post has gone down in a very bad way.
