Anyone going to see Maron in Columbus in March? $32 worth it?

Lots of great podcasts but not a lot of time to listen to them all. I mainly listen to Adam Carolla, Bill Burr, and Marc Maron. Occasionally Joe Rogan, Greg Fitzsimmons, and Penn Jillette.

I’ve been listening to NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour while running lately. Usually pretty fun/geeky material…

Just started listening to My Brother, My Brother and Me and it’s hilarious. It’s an advice show based on answering questions from Yahoo Answers.

I’m going, but I’ve been a fan for decades.

The Degrasse Tyson episode was really, really good. It got better later in the show after Joe got through his slew of queries on conspiracy-related stuff that was a little less compelling than the later material.

Later in the day I followed it up with Rogan’s recent one featuring Doug Stanhope. Was the perfect accompaniment for a 2+ hour drive after working in Cleveland today. Stanhope rules, and gels well with Rogan.

Coincidentally I just bought tickets to see Stanhope in Cinci soon. Stoked for that.

I enjoyed the Stanhope one as well. Joe does great podcasts but I have a few issues with them. Not enough to keep me from listening, but…a) his podcasts sometimes go 3 hours, and I rarely can keep up with his output and listen to the entire 3 hours. b) he talks too much about his vitamins/workouts/MMA. Not interesting to me. However his interviews are great. His interview with perv/comic Jim Norton in June was wild.
