so. as a renter and total non-home repair person, i know nothing about plumbers or finding one...my boss asked me to find a plumber to fix our bathroom sink and toilet after we were dicked over by her normal company...anybody have some suggestions so i can look like a supahstar???

I'm sure everyone will have a different recommendation, but no matter what I would suggest getting multiple quotes. I've only had to deal with one plumbing issue at our house this year, and I had two quotes. One was $600, one was $1300. And I ended up fixing the problem myself for $3.
Seems like they can vary in price by A LOT.

see-this is already where i went wrong...the bad company that came out just came out and i thought they were doing a quote. then he pops out 10 minutes later and was like "oh, i just fixed it while i was here" then he sent me a bill for 120 bucks and nothing was actually fixed.
