Breaking it down from what the site presents:
Be an excellent communicator, imaginative and inquisitive. Show us your marketing and public relations track record for effectively using Web 2.0 tools including social networking sites, video-sharing sites, blogs and more on both computer and mobile devices.
You have that - show it - a photo of the Restaurant Widow Blog / logo, a sample of one of your twitter posts, etc.
You should be passionate about wine.
You have that and happen to be married to someone that is super passionate about it - now it is time to make Chris jealous with one of your wine trips. I don't see the wine passion in version 1.0
In addition, you’re a “people person†who can speak to customers, colleagues and media.
You have been in the paper, on the radio, you present workshops, you do Sunday diners that all fits into who you are and what they are looking for.
You have great verbal and written English language skills.
Take a look at some of the digital storytelling resources that the OSU Library has and add some Lisa style commentary to version 2.0. http://telr.osu.edu/storytelling/storytelling.html
We want to hire a social media whiz who will report on the cool lifestyle of Sonoma County Wine Country - TO tell the world about our wines and the place where we live: the Sonoma County Wine Country.
And - tell people what you’re learning about winemaking.
Lisa - you are passionate about food and helping people in Columbus connect with that - so the video needs to focus on the passion you have for food and wine - Columbus does not factor in. I'd save about 8-10 of the food and chef photos, ditch the non food photos - including the cat (sorry cat) slow down the image spacing and look for some images of you doing more of what you do. Each one of the images you save has a connection to you and tells part of your story - The North Market, Alana, etc. You have 60 seconds to tell the story of you and show that you are doing / living the things they looking for. You are on the right track for sure and the photos look great.
Do you have a photo of you on the radio, at Wild Goose (if you can teach salt - you can teach wine for sure).
