Plank's Bier Garten celebrates golden anniversary this year

Ask Dan Plank to look back on his restaurant's 50-year history to see what is different and he'll be hard-pressed to give you an answer.
"The prices," he says with a laugh.
Sure, cheeseburgers are no longer 40 cents apiece, as they were in 1960, but little else has changed at Plank's Bier Garten, which will pass the half-century mark this year.
