Anyone have any favorite places to go get Christmas Trees?
We drove down to Rhodes Farm Market in Circleville last year to cut our own... which was fun, but then we found out that they bring trees up to the North Market to sell, so we might just go over there for it this year to keep the drive a lot shorter.

Hilltop YMCA's Y's Men, 2879 Valleyview Dr.
This is the 55th year for the Christmas Tree sale. Proceeds benefit youth programs at the Hilltop Y and at Camp Willson in Bellefontaine. Prices start at $25, and the sale starts Dec. 4. Hours Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Indianola K-8 (Weber @ Calumet) is having a tree sale. We got one last year; it was top notch, so we ordered another today. Last year, they were bigger than advertised. Orders must be placed by December 1st.

We've been getting our Christmas tree from 'Mr. Tree's Christmas Farm' for the past few years and have always had a great experience.
They're located right off of E. Broad Street near Brice Road.
They also have a petting zoo with an incredibly huge donkey. The donkey is their selling point.

For the past three years we've cut our tree out at the Alum Polaris Tree Farm, north of Polaris. We've found some decent trees, but their selection is getting smaller.

How have I missed the donkey at Mr. Tree?! That used to be our go-to place, but the last two years we've just picked up a tree from Rhoads at the North Market. Been very happy with both places. Saw some very nice trees at St. Mary's in German Village, including some smaller ones (seems difficult to find a Charlie Brown tree these days.)

We drove out there every year as a kid to get our trees. You grab a saw, hop on a bus, and get out in the area with the type of tree you want. Tons of trees to choose from. You cut it down, drag it back to where the bus picks you up, and go back to the nice little lodge/gift shop with a warm woodburning fireplace. They have a window where you then buy a cup of coffee or maybe a hot chocolate with those little mashmellows in it. Fun times.
Its out near Granville which is bit of a drive, but Granville is a cute town that is all decorated up for Christmas, and if you're interested you can drive through.

A few years back, they used to have an alpaca. But the proclaimed 'Ed' the donkey, is by far the best thing about getting a Christmas tree.

corner of lane Ave / Kenny Rd is a family owned christmas tree location with fresh cut trees! they are all frasier firs and are ALL beautiful and smell GREAT!

I got mine from the clintonville co-op. All the trees there are from Raven Rocks. Raven Rocks was established in 1970 in eastern Ohio, where they have secured and maintained 1,200 acres in a permanent preservation. Only trees that they planted specifically for this purpose are cut for their Holiday fundraiser.
