Thanks, Jim. We missed you but had a great time regardless. I hung with Jared a bit Sunday, but tried to make my rounds in two hours - too many nice people to chat with.
I should have brought a z pizza "Berkeley" veggie in your honor, but I brought one of those to PGP IV. So is the BeerWench going to grace us with her presence at BeerCamp? That would be cool.
Oh, thanks Cookie. I'm sorry I didn't get to say "hello", and "thanks" in person. I knew it was on the CC menu, but I was a corn pie virgin before you came into my life!
We make a sweet Ohio corn and blue crab chowder at the hotel that's really tasty. The sweet crunch of the corn adds a different dimension to the chowder, as it does the pie.
@ Jared, I'm glad you were pleased with the pizza from our hotel. Who needs all the carbs, right? You blogged that pretty quick.
When I was in Hong Kong, creamed corn and squid was a popular pizza topping combo. From Pizza Hut nonetheless. Maybe I should try to bring something like that to the next pizza grand prix.

I'm not much of a baker, and refrained from making a pizza. But I was thinking of making a seafood pizza with fried or grilled calamari pizza with a plum sauce glaze. Corn would be good with that, too. Yum.
I hope the mouth is feeling better after the surgery, David.

It damn well better start feeling better. I'm having dim sum Saturday, come hell or high water. That, and I'm almost out of vicodin.
