Anyone know about it? Anyone from Pittsburgh and know the good neighborhoods? I am going this week to find some stores for our line and could use some leads.

I don't have too much of value to share, but I do remember a funky shopping/dining area not unlike the SN around the Carnegie Mellon U area.

Honestly, the only time I've been to Pittsburgh... we just went for the Ikea.

That is all I can think of as well. Over in Oakland where Pitt and CMU are. Also Carnegie Museum and Scaife Gallery and Conservatory.
I have been to a couple of funky neighborhoods like in the Squirrel Hill area ... I think. I know the 'burg pretty well on the ground level, but I am never sure exactly what neighborhoods are called. If I can raise one of my mates who is still there, I will see what I can find.

Yeah, I think I am pretty safe with how many museums they have. We do pretty well in Contemporary Museum gift stores.

Find South Street. I couldn't find it last time I was there. Pittsburgh is so confusing to drive in.

You definitely want to go to Shadyside (that's the equivalent neighborhood to the Short North in Pittsburgh) ... lots of shopping on Walnut and Ellsworth there.
I'd like to recommend that while you are there you make sure to stop into my friend's cupcake shop:
Coco's Cupcakes

all I can say is... trust me on this one.

Awesome! We need that here. In GV. But then I would never lose any weight.
I second the South Flats/Carson St. area.

Have you tried Bakery Gingham? it is attached to the Brown Bag deli.

Ooooh. So now we can... stop at CoCo's for some cupcakes, shop at IKEA, and then have dinner at Bahama Breeze before making the trek back to Columbus. :P :D

The Yosicks cupcakes look AWESOME. Haven't had one yet, but DAMN... they look perfect. I was this close to getting one, but opted for some chocolate instead... I'm a slave to the lemon flavor. And the caramel is amazing.
I've had a couple of the Gingham cupcakes, and they were fine, but I wasn't totally bowled over by them; however, I will also say, she was out of the flavor I was craving, so that may have been a contributing factor.

Where is this Yosick's of which you speak? :)
